BESPOKE | Fitted Home Office

It would be nice to show some moody minimal images of this superb oak and burr oak fitted home office but we were just too late! Its proud owners have moved into it quickly and it is now a very busy fully loaded home office environment.All of its space is stocked with documents, equipment and archives. It is a working machine doing the job it was intended for.

The design has an Art Deco feel with the extensive use of exquisite burr oak panelling and in the design of the custom mouldings and architriving.

A Bespoke Fitted Home Office Look

This fitted home office makes maximum use of a converted attic room. The office comprises three integrated desk spaces with low shelves and continous worktop that follow the perimeter of the room. A tall large shelf fits nicely into the ceiling apex providing adjustable shelves.

In fact, the whole office has a fitted look but the customer was quite specific in requesting a freestanding approach to the furniture installation. What we came up with was a modular system of oak and burr oak cabinets that if need be could be dissassembled, moved to another location and reassembled in a totally different arrangement

Concealed wiring flaps to the rear of the worktops allow all interconnect and wiring to be hidden yet still easily accessed and modified whenever. Shelf dimensions have been designed to fit standard archive boxes, of which it can be seen, there are many.

The furniture has a hand applied natural oil finish that can be easily maintained in the years to come – and very importantly, easily repaired if scratched or stained. A simple rub down and sand followed by a reapplication of oil.
