Description
DELIVERY

The Moor Lounge Chair is the result of Dovetailors collaboration with design house Moor Furniture. It is a refined combination of sculptural design, engineered comfort, and honest materials—created for interiors that value both performance and longevity.

Designed around a solid timber frame, the chair features a generously proportioned upholstered seat and backrest, carefully angled to provide relaxed, supportive seating. The open, rounded arms and flowing profile reduce visual weight while maintaining a strong architectural presence, allowing the chair to sit comfortably within both residential and commercial environments.

Construction & Materials
Each chair is crafted from responsibly sourced solid timber, available in natural ash, oak, American walnut, or ebonised ash. The frame is precision-shaped using advanced CNC technology, then assembled and refined using traditional joinery techniques to ensure strength, durability, and a high-quality finish.

The seat and back are constructed with wool padding and upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics or leather, including customer-supplied materials subject to approval. This layered construction provides both comfort and resilience for long-term use.

Finish
Timber surfaces are protected with a durable satin finish, designed to enhance the natural grain while offering resistance to stains, moisture, and everyday wear. The finish creates a warm, tactile surface that matures gracefully over time.

Peace of Mind

Our products are built to extremely high standards so that they will withstand many years of use. If you change your mind or are unhappy with your Dovetailors product we will refund or exchange it, if you let us know within 7 days of receiving your item and provided it is returned to us within 28 days in its original packaging and condition. This does not apply to bespoke or personalised items.

Delivery Times

We personally deliver all large pieces of furniture and will arrange delivery with you on a day and at a time that suits you. For smaller items, we use a standard 2-5 day courier service. A signature is usually required on receipt, so please ensure someone is available at the delivery address. To arrange a weekend delivery, please contact our team. If, for any reason, we are unable to dispatch your order, or if you have chosen to collect your order, a member of our team will contact you with further details.

Delivery Costs

We offer a free delivery service within a 50-mile radius of our workshop in Leeds. Alternatively, you may choose to pick up your item from our workshop, and we will be delighted to see you and have a chat with you! Delivery costs and zones are shown in the table below and will be displayed in your basket once you input your postcode.
