Why quality craftsmanship and design matters to our commercial partners

quality craftsmanship

As our business continues to evolve, we enjoy putting our quality craftsmanship skills to the test when it comes to bringing new designs to life.

Working with emerging and talented designers is a creative and collaborative journey from start to finish with the ultimate aim of introducing unique furniture pieces to the market.

And with first class facilities at our disposal, we can help with one-off prototypes and small batch production runs.

It’s a field where are our reputation is growing from strength to strength and we can support talented designers to build a very special portfolio.

Curved furniture

Quality craftsmanship is at the centre of everything we do and we are known in the industry for manufacturing high-end curved furniture frames for chairs, sofas and other upholstery products.

Modular, curved seating solutions can be made to any specification and we can help build designs from sketches or from computer generated files.

We can also advise on the best materials and woods to complement the overall design, so the final product has an outstanding finish.

With FSC® certification (FSC® C007915), furniture designers and commercial partners can be confident of our commitment to responsible timber sourcing and this is very important to us too.

Traditional v modern

We combine the best of both worlds using traditional wood working techniques with the latest furniture technology in CNC laser cutting and computer assisted design (CAD & CAM) to bring concepts to life.

Our commercial partners know they can rely on us to develop prototypes that reflect their vision and push the boundaries of design.

This is one of the reasons why we have recently invested in a second CNC machine at our Yorkshire workshop as we continue to invest in the commercial side of our operations.

Small batch production

As part of our tailored service, we are in a strong position to offer small batch (low volume) production runs but also have the capability to manufacture in large quantities.

This can be very useful to designers looking to bring a new product to the market but perhaps are unable to commit to a full-scale run just yet.

We can help our commercial partners to progress their ideas at the vital points between design, manufacture and end product.

Innovating new designs and bringing them to the market is a major focus of our work as we continue to develop our business in the future. We have the in-house knowledge, technical know-how and quality craftsmanship skills to help make adventurous designs a reality.
