Project Brief

This beautiful bespoke minimalist kitchen was inspired by one of our earlier kitchen designs and was the result of a true collaboration between our customer and us.

It was created for a couple in Cambridge and they were keen to take the artistic lead right from the start.

They sketched their own wave motif, visualising the upper and lower waves dancing together. It was technically challenging to take this sketch, draw it accurately and wrap it around the curved kitchen design and there were many evolutions of the design in 3D computer graphics before the final style was agreed.

Special features include:

Ripple maple with an oak wave and walnut detailing.
Solid oak drawers with our hallmark hand-cut dovetails.
Handless push-to-open doors and drawers.
Integrated “hidden” boiler housing with easy access for maintenance.
Worktop in pure white Corian.

What our Creative Director David Wilson says about the project:

“We are always delighted when a customer wants to fully immerse themselves in the design and build process as it allows us to engage with their vision and achieve breathtaking results like this. The technical challenges involved in this project demonstrate how technology works hand in hand with the furniture making skills of our craftsmen to create new and exciting possibilities.”
