One of our latest projects was to make a pair of walnut trestle legs for a large glass-topped desk for two co-workers to share. The finished effect is stunning (see photo above) and the customer is delighted with the result.

When it comes to trestle desks, it isn’t a case of one size fits all. Thankfully, our creative director David has devised a neat formula for working out the precise dimensions of your stylish trestle legs depending on the shape and size of your desk.
If you give us the measurements of the space you have for a desk, we’ll work out what trestles you need. We’ll then set about making them lovingly in our workshop using your choice of wood (oak, walnut or sepele), before sanding them down and giving them a smart clear satin oiled finish.
Many of the customers who order trestle legs from us will arrange for glass to be custom cut and placed on top. The combination of warm wood and glass creates a modern look that suits almost any décor and will never go out of fashion.
Others prefer a wooden top to match or contrast with the legs and we can make this to tie in with the style of the trestles for a unique office desk that just can’t be found anywhere on the high street or online.
