Here at Dovetailors we’ve interpreted the traditional trestle table design to create an iconic version. Our design features all of the trestle’s classic simplicity with an elegant twist, making it ideal for modern living spaces.
A hint of retro styling matches the demands of the current market and our custom approach to furniture making means this is a template from which many different possibilities can evolve. The top can be glass or wood and the finish can be tailored to suit the table’s intended setting.
Another key design feature is the tripod leg formation, making our version sturdy as well as stylish.
A pair of sleek trestle desk supports in solid walnut support a toughened glass top which can be custom cut to size. Our standard glass size is 100cm by 180cm by 10mm.
As well as our glass top contemporary trestle table we also offer a tilting tripod trestle desk. Two adjustable tilting tripod trestle desk supports hold a 10mm glass table top. The tri-pod legs and
frame are made in our workshop using solid walnut with mortice and tenon joints.
The adjustable table top supports allow both height and angle adjustment making this an extremely versatile piece of furniture which can be used as a flexible workstation, a contemporary piece of furniture for the home or an elegant desk for an office or home office.
