We were commissioned to make an elegant pedestal table for a customer in the South of England using English walnut with a feature burr top.
Burr veneer has featured in many of our bespoke designs over the years and adds drama to an otherwise understated and elegant design
This table made use of some vintage burr walnut veneer which was donated to us by a company that was discontinuing. The burr is thought to date back to the 1920s.
The pedestal base was made using our Bacci 5-axis machine and lathe, which allows us to work through 360 degrees.
