One of the key elements we carefully considered was the footrest. In our previous tall wooden stools, we used metal crossbars for the footrest. However, for this design, we wanted to stay true to the natural, organic aesthetic of the piece, and mixing materials didn’t feel right. After much experimentation, we decided to integrate a wooden footrest that complements the stool’s overall design. Crafted using sturdy mortice and tenon joinery, this wooden footrest adds both durability and elegance, ensuring the stool withstands daily use while maintaining its beautiful appearance.

Cutting-Edge Design Technology for Perfectly Sculpted Bar Stools

The design process is as innovative as the bar stool or counter stool itself. We used advanced CAD software to digitally sculpt the wood, allowing us to explore intricate shapes and curves with precision. While the design may look effortless, it took many hours of work and refinements to perfect the lines and prepare the stool for manufacture in our Yorkshire workshop.
