In designing and making this contemporary dining table with benches, we have focused on family life.
The dining table is handmade in individually-selected solid maple which is then hand-planed and sanded. We use the robust technique of mortice and tenon mitred legs and frame joints to withstand the demands of everyday life. The table’s decorative inlaid cherry stringing is hand cut and forms a circle motif which is also reflected in the benches. The central solid maple top is suspended between mitred frame and legs with stainless steel bushes.
This is a well-built and versatile table equally at home in the kitchen or dining room, perfect for informal family eating and smart enough for more formal dining.
Finished with care
To maintain the lightness of this contemporary dining table we have chosen a hand-applied clear acrylic finish. The hard-wearing, durable and easy-to-maintain properties of an acrylic finish will give you full enjoyment of this table with family and friends.

Our products are built to extremely high standards so that they will withstand many years of use. If you change your mind or are unhappy with your Dovetailors product we will refund or exchange it, if you let us know within 7 days of receiving your item and provided it is returned to us within 28 days in its original packaging and condition. Delivery Times
We personally deliver all large pieces of furniture and will arrange delivery with you on a day and at a time that suit you. For smaller items we use a standard 2-5 day courier service. A signature is usually required on receipt, so please make sure someone is available at the delivery address. To arrange a weekend delivery, please contact our team. If for any reason we are unable to despatch your order, or if you have chosen to collect your order, a member of our team will contact you with further details.Delivery Costs
We offer a free delivery service within a 50 miles radius of our workshop in Leeds. Alternatively, you may choose to pick up your item from our workshop and we will be delighted to see you and have a chat with you!
