This distinctive striped wooden chopping board is handmade using off-cuts from the various hardwoods we use in making our bespoke furniture, making it a sustainable choice for your kitchen. Typical solid wood combinations include maple, oak, walnut and cherry for a truly unique chopping board. From time to time the striped design will include one or two less common timbers.

Dimension
23 x 29 x 2 cm
Size is approximate and the chopping board can vary by 2cm centimetres as it will depend on the hardwood we have been working with in our other furniture projects.
Material
Variety of hardwood. Our current batch of chopping boards are made of oak, maple, walnut and cherry.
Finish and maintenance
The chopping board is hand-finished in Osmo Polyx Hardwax-Oil allowing the depth and distinctive characteristics of each wood to shine through. This finish is hardwearing, water resistant and safe making it a family friendly finish.
How to look after your wooden chopping board
Simply wash your chopping board with a mild detergent, wipe off water as soon as washed and put you chopping board to dry. Solid wood will expand if left in prolonged water so do not allow your chopping to stand in water.
If your wooden board becomes a bit dry, it is easy to apply a small amount of vegetable oil to revive it. Apply the oil and wipe off any excess. Your chopping board will be professionally hand oiled in our workshop before being dispatched to make sure it reaches you in perfect condition ready for use. It should not need re-oiling for some time.

Payment options
You can choose to pay by card, or by bank transfer. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after completing the checkout process. If you have chosen to pay by bank transfer the email will give you the details needed for you to complete the bank transfer.

Returns
Our products are built to extremely high standards so that they will withstand many years of use.
If you change your mind or are unhappy with your Dovetailors product we will refund or exchange it, if you let us know within 7 days of receiving your item, and provided it is returned to us within 28 days in its original packaging and condition. This does not apply to bespoke or personalised items.

Delivery Times
We personally deliver all large pieces of furniture and will arrange delivery with you on a day and at a time that suits you.
For smaller items, we use a standard 2-5 day courier service. A signature is usually required on receipt, so please ensure someone is available at the delivery address. To arrange a weekend delivery, please contact our team. If, for any reason, we are unable to dispatch your order, or if you have chosen to collect your order, a member of our team will contact you with further details.
Delivery Costs
We offer a free delivery service within a 50-mile radius of our workshop in Leeds. Alternatively, you may choose to pick up your item from our workshop, and we will be delighted to see you and have a chat with you!
