Our Festoon Stool is an elegant mid-century inspired design that has timeless appeal. It is versatile enough to be used in the kitchen, living room or as a music stool, bar stool or hobby stool.
Made With Expertise
Our elegant mid-century inspired Festoon kitchen stool has a sturdy construction and timeless appeal. The design consists of a shaped inverted bowl seat with through-jointed elegantly tapered legs and stainless steel foot rest. The leg joint to the seat is a particularly beautiful feature of the stool.
The wooden stool has solid walnut legs with an oak seat, oak legs with a maple seat, or walnut legs with a maple seat. The stainless steel foot rests add comfort and a contemporary touch. Our makers use an innovative design to join the seat and legs, giving the Festoon kitchen stool a distinctive look. Traditionally jointed, the stool’s simplicity belies its complex geometry and precision manufacture afforded by today’s cutting edge technology.

Finished With Care
The kitchen stool is hand-finished in Osmo Polyx Hardwax-Oil in clear satin. We chose this finish because it is made from natural oils and waxes, and is breathable and clear. This allows the true colour and character of the wood to shine through. And it is hard-wearing and water-resistant, making it a family-friendly finish.

Peace of Mind
Our products are built to extremely high standards so that they will withstand many years of use. If you change your mind or are unhappy with your Dovetailors product we will refund or exchange it, if you let us know within 7 days of receiving your item and provided it is returned to us within 28 days in its original packaging and condition. This does not apply to bespoke or personalised items.
Delivery Times
We personally deliver all large pieces of furniture and will arrange delivery with you on a day and at a time that suit you. For smaller items we use a standard 2-5 day courier service. A signature is usually required on receipt, so please make sure someone is available at the delivery address. To arrange a weekend delivery, please contact our team. If for any reason we are unable to despatch your order, or if you have chosen to collect your order, a member of our team will contact you with further details.Delivery Costs
We offer a free delivery service within a 50 miles radius of our workshop in Leeds. Alternatively, you may choose to pick up your item from our workshop and we will be delighted to see you and have a chat with you!
