It’s always a pleasure working on meaningful projects, and these freestanding oak choir stalls for Aston Hall were no exception.
Recently, we had the privilege of helping a small convent community that were taking possession of a stately home, transforming it into a serene and spiritual space. One of the key aspects of this conversion was the modernization and renovation of the chapel within the home. The nuns required choir stalls that were not only functional but also aligned with the aesthetic and spiritual essence of the convent.
The Flexibility of Freestanding Choir Stalls
During their search for freestanding stalls, they came across our previous ecclesiastical work, which showcased our expertise in creating elegant and versatile furniture. They were particularly impressed with our ability to design freestanding choir stalls that offered flexibility, essential for the small chapel that needed to accommodate various uses.
